which ram slot for 1 stick - does it matter where you slot your ram? : r/computers winner 888 slot

I'm going to stick in my first ram in the A2 slot, the second ram in the B2 slot, the third ram in the A1 slot, and the fourth ram in the B1 slot.

We have a certain computer for higher-end development that has been getting blue screens every few weeks. I’ll take out the RAM, test it (memtest86+) and find errors on 1 or 2 of the sticks…order a replacement stick and be fine for a few weeks.

When using only one stick of ram the computer should boot normaly regardles of wich slot used.
